PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
I am committed to professional development in the areas of research, statistics, teaching, and clinical skills. My career path has been one of oscillation between professional application of knowledge and continued education and study. I find intrinsic value in life-long learning, and hope to always be a "student" in some respect. My goal is to obtain a tenure-track faculty position at a research university.
I have studied education, counseling, psychology, and statistics at the graduate level. I continue to attend workshops and conferences in order to remain up-to-date on trauma and mental health research, policy and advocacy, and methods in statistics. You can view a listing of my STATISTICAL & TECHNICAL knowledge and my CONTINUING EDUCATION experiences. I am affiliated with many professional organizations, and links to their websites are included below. I develop connections with my colleagues through SERVICE on Cornell committees, in professional organizations, and within the community.
